INFINIGIG Dictionary

File Type Limits	Infinigig supports all file types, from AAC - ZIP.
Permalink	Upon completion of the uploading process, an unchanging, unique user-tunable URL is instantly created. You can easily copy the permalink and paste it into an email, send it over instant message, insert it on your website or display it on your blog.
Bandwidth Rollover	You never lose the unused delivery bandwidth stockpiled in your account. All unused bandwidth carries over.
Volume Based Metric	Bandwidth usage is measured using Infinigig's patented volume-based metric so you only pay for the bandwidth you use and only fully transferred direct downloaded files are counted.
Real Time Reporting	Get real time information about the movement of your uploaded files. The download count for each file is located on the file's information page. The total download count for all the files within a folder is located on the folder's information page.
Upload Client	The Uploader is a desktop client (for both Mac and Windows) that allows for queuing multiple files for uploading. Please see our tools page for more information on the Infinigig Uploader software.
Passworded Files	Files may be password protected for increased security. Users accessing passworded files will be prompted for a username and password.
Visibility Settings	Apart from setting your files as password protected, you can also set uploaded files to either "public" or "unlisted" visibility. All uploaded files are initially considered "public" and will show up on your public page and in your Infinigig RSS feed. If you intend to privately pass on the URL to your file, set the file visibility to "unlisted".
Instant Web Presence	Infinigig automatically creates your own publicly available web page. Share the address (URL) to this page with your friends, family or colleagues and invite them to visit for downloads or RSS feeds (standard, mobile and BitTorrent) of your files and a chance to donate bandwidth to your cause.
RSS Feeds	Infinigig automatically creates RSS feeds containing pointers to all of your uploaded and torrented files.
iTunes Support	Your main Infinigig RSS feed is iTunes compatible allowing you to add your feed directly into iTunes for others to easily find and download your podcasts and videos.
Embeddable Web Widget	The Infinigig web widget is an iconic representation of each of your uploaded files containing all methods of downloading and sharing your file in a compact interface. By pasting the embeddable widget HTML into your website or blog, you give simple button-driven access to your files as well as real-time download stats all within a small rectangle.
Bandwidth Donation	Anyone on the Internet can directly pay for bandwidth which will be added to your Infinigig account. Use the Bandwidth Donation feature to achieve the goals of your grass roots organization.
Bandwidth Transfer	Other Infinigig users can directly move their own Infinigig bandwidth into your account.
Auto Publish	Give us your existing RSS feed and we'll automatically scan it for new files and upload the new files to your Infinigig account. Then, based on your choice, we will automatically create a permalink, a mobile phone stream or a BitTorrent for each newly uploaded file.
